The PrintStream Users Group (PSUG) is a collection of users of PrintStream Software. It is a product created and maintained by Streamline Solutions. PrintStream is a database system for capturing, storing and processing management information for the Direct Mail, Printing and Fulfillment industries. Streamline Solutions has been providing management software since 1983.
The purpose of PSUG is to facilitate the exchange of information and experience among the users of the system and to support and guide Streamline Solutions, Inc. with respect to further development of the product. PSUG is comprised of various focus groups in which most of the actual work is done. Focus Groups concentrate on particular areas of the system and its usage. The groups develop usage concepts, proposals for system enhancements, etc.
Anyone who belongs to or works on behalf of an organization that has purchased PrintStream may participate in the user group. PSUG is managed by an executive committee that includes representatives from a diverse selection of companies. The communication vehicles are scheduled teleconferences, electronic mail, face-to-face meetings, and semi-annual meetings.
